Make JSONObject and JSONArray implement Serializable

Is there a reason why JSONObject is not serializable?

We use it as a business object and store it in a http session. The HTTP Session ist clustered with JDBC and serialization fails.

We are going to build a serializable wrapper object, but it would be nice if this was supported by default.
