Netezza import/export fails when TIME column is mapped with TIMESTAMP

We have scenarios where we need to map TIME data type column of Netezza with TIMESTAMP from Sqoop. However, that fails with java.lang.ClassCastException: java.sql.Time cannot be cast to java.sql.Timestamp error. Same approach works with other databases.
