    Description

      This issue is to track the effort on compacting old event logs (and cleaning up after compaction) without breaking guaranteeing of compatibility.

      This issue depends on SPARK-29779 and SPARK-30479, and focuses on integrating event log compactor into Spark History Server and enable configurations.
