Add built-in generic support for other (besides field) faceting display and filtering

Built-in faceting/filtering is for facet.field's only currently. Let's add support for the other faceting modes for general support.

(note the "techproducts" example comes with more faceting support, but needs to be pulled out in a generic fashion)
