Document deletion should return the number of records deleted

As currently implemented, there's no way (AFAIK) for a user to determine whether a deletion actually did anything, just whether there were any errors - lack of matching records to delete does not constitute one.

I would like to request that Solr or SolrJ return the number of rows deleted by a given command.
