Header file proton/version.h exposes the install prefix

It seems to do this as a hack to get the install prefix into the c++ binding library so that it can look for a file relative to the install prefix. This seems messy/hacky and even for the needed purpose doesn't need to expose the install prefix beyond the build process itself.
