TelnetClient InputStream can not read data until timeout!

After i use telnet clinet connect to a linux server,i get the input stream,but it blocked until timeout after 60 seconds. then i got following message:
login: Login timed out after 60 seconds
When i change commons-net.jar to version 3.0, it works very well!
