[Flakey Test] TestReplicationStatus

Fails about 20% of the time even when i run locally. Spent time trying to untangle but this is an awkward one. It is old. Subclasses TestReplicationBase which itself needs cleanup. Tried adding barriers to wait on events but holding up main thread messes up the test. Needs deeper dive.
