Query on Parquet SNAPPY and GZIP failed but succeeded using UNCOMPRESSED data

    Description

      I have a deeply nested Parquet file with ~1000 columns created using avro-parquet java library.

       

      Data with CompressionCodec.UNCOMPRESSED: queries work great!!

      Data with CompressionCodec.SNAPPY: fails

      Data with CompressionCodec.GZIP: fails
