Splashscreen does not work when reloading content

If the app content is reloaded (e.g. calling "location.reload()"), the splashscreen does not work anymore and generate errors (variable "extendedSplashScreen" is not defined). This is because the "acivated" event has already been fired and "splashscreen.firstShow()" is not called.
