Investigage consequences of broken serialization of AbstractBounds pre-3.0

    Description

      As noted on CASSANDRA-9775, the serialization of AbstractBounds has always been broken for ExcludingBounds and IncludingExcludingBounds (both are serialized as a Bound).

      CASSANDRA-9775 has a fix for 3.0, but I haven't check if that can manifest itselfs as a concrete bug on earlier versions and we should investigate it.
