Secondary Index not returning complete data

The result response when we query using a secondary index does not give complete data. Some of the rows are missing. After dropping the index and creating it again, the query worked fine.

Observation: The missed data entry is last edited 20 days ago.
I suspect may be the data which is old is not getting indexed properly through secondary indexes.
