Angular Paragraph Output Goes Blank

When I run an angular paragraph, if I close the browser and reopen the browser to the same paragraph.  The output goes of the paragraph is blank.  For example, I ran this D3 Choropleth example from:

I get a nice choropleth county map.  However, when I close the browser and come back to it, the output disappears.  I've attached the print screens of the notebook when it renders and when it goes blank.  If I re-run the paragraph, the output comes back.
