Does hadoop 2.4 support resource allocation to container for cpu cores ?

AppMasterStdout logs following statement

• Launching shell command on a new container., containerId=container_1404840303795_0002_01_002572, containerResourceMemory4096, containerResourceVirtualCores1, containerTokenjava.nio.HeapByteBuffer[pos=0 lim=75 cap=75]

But i have specified memory=4096 and cpu cores=2 as input to container, but it is taking containerResourceVirtualCores = 1
