spark-shell.cmd not starting again after a while in windows 8.1

Hi I ran spark-shell and successfully ran the word count example(input was a xml file). After sometime i tried to start the spark-shell again it says "There are no more files available" . I tried this with both spark-1.1.0-bin-hadoop1 and spark-1.1.1-bin-hadoop2.4.
