Add support for unix sockets and windows named pipes

Allow users to pass either a unix socket or windows named pipe URL as and endpoint to work with docker.

On unix machines the default is:

unix:///var/run/docker.sock

On windows machines (windows 10 only at this moment) the default is:

npipe:////./pipe/docker_engine
