Ensure that ValueProvider types have equals/hashCode implemented for comparison reasons

    Description

      Currently ValueProviders don't implement equality which means they only have instance equality.

       

      This is not great if since we want to support using them as keys within maps or as fields within objects which are used as keys within maps.
